Alecia graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery School of Nursing in May 2012 before moving to Birmingham to work at UAB as a registered nurse. In March 2014, she transferred to Baptist East Medical Center where she worked as a nurse in the emergency department while attending Auburn University’s Nurse Practitioner Program. 

 Alecia received her graduate degree in May 2017 and is certified as a family nurse practitioner through AANP. Alecia continued working in the emergency department as a nurse practitioner until February 2023 when she joined the Center for Pain. Alecia’s goal as an advanced practice nurse is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to all patients. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, napping & spending time with her husband & two boys.
